KIO Renewables
A New Chapter for Clean Energy Infrastructure
KIO Renewables is a circular economy company working at the intersection of clean energy and advanced materials recovery.
What We Do
We’re developing innovative, low-waste solutions to dismantle aging wind turbines and repurpose their components with a focus on blades made from fiberglass and resin.
Responsible decommissioning of turbines
Composite material processing
Collaborative testing with concrete and cement companies
Supply chain design for scale and sustainability
From Wind Power to Lasting Purpose
KIO Renewables is building circular solutions for a cleaner future.
We work with material science leaders to develop and deploy advanced recycling systems for end-of-life wind turbines and composite waste keeping high-value materials in use and out of landfills. Our technologies enable industries to move from extraction to regeneration, aligning with the shift toward circular manufacturing and net-zero infrastructure.
Our Core Technologies
Recycled Glass Fiber (rGF)
We extract and refine high-purity fiberglass from decommissioned wind turbine blades. This recovered material is reintroduced into composite manufacturing—supporting industries like construction, automotive, and energy with performance-grade inputs that reduce dependence on virgin raw materials.
Thermolysis-Based Recycling
Our multi-phase process breaks down composite and plastic waste into reusable components—recovering resins, carbon black, oils, and glass fiber. This closed-loop approach not only cuts emissions but also unlocks ESG-aligned value streams for manufacturers and governments.
Concrete and Infrastructure Innovation
We supply engineered rGF and graphene-based additives that strengthen concrete, reduce material use, and increase durability. These next-gen materials support infrastructure that’s lighter, longer-lasting, and better suited to the demands of modern construction.
Circular Economy Solutions
Our integrated recycling technologies provide governments and industry leaders with a scalable pathway to lower emissions, reduce waste, and meet circular economy targets—without compromising performance or cost.
